Peppol Conference Europe 2026
Shaping the Future of Interoperable Digital Trade
Highlights from Event:
The Peppol Conference Europe 2026 brought together policymakers, Peppol Authorities, service providers, businesses, and digital trade experts from around the world for two days of collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing in Brussels. The event reaffirmed the growing importance of the Peppol Network as the trusted foundation for secure, interoperable digital business transactions.
Fully booked, the conference welcomed participants from 37 countries across Europe and beyond. This strong international participation reflects the growing global reach of the Peppol Network and a shared commitment to advancing interoperable digital trade.
Through keynote presentations, expert panels, technical sessions, and interactive discussions, participants explored how governments and the private sector are working together to accelerate digital transformation through interoperable solutions for eInvoicing, logistics, and tax reporting.
Representatives from across Europe and beyond shared practical experiences of implementing Peppol at the national level, demonstrating how interoperability delivers measurable benefits by increasing efficiency, reducing administrative burdens, improving compliance, and enabling cross-border trade.
The event also highlighted the expanding role of the Peppol Network beyond eInvoicing. Sessions explored developments in logistics, Continuous Transaction Controls (CTC), and the evolving digital trade ecosystem, illustrating how Peppol standards continue to support new business processes while upholding the core principles of openness, trust, and interoperability.
What truly distinguished the conference, however, was the vibrant engagement of the Peppol community. Conversations extended well beyond the conference sessions, continuing throughout the networking events and across social media. Participants consistently described the event as a valuable opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, establish new partnerships, and exchange practical experiences with peers from across the global Peppol ecosystem.
As digital transformation accelerates around the world, OpenPeppol remains committed to fostering collaboration, developing trusted specifications, and expanding the reach of the Peppol Network. The discussions, partnerships, and ideas that emerged from Peppol Conference Europe 2026 will continue to shape our work as we build the next generation of interoperable digital trade.
Together, we are creating a future in which businesses and public administrations can exchange digital documents securely, efficiently, and seamlessly—anywhere in the world.
